Our second recce this week was again from Parcent to
Alcalali, but a completely different route
A lot of our summer walks will be in and around the
valley, because they need to be as flat as possible. And I would prefer that we do not have to
drive too far to start them.
This one followed the route towards Jalon
Then across the river to the Alcalali mirador. This will feature in a couple of our walks,
because it is the best location for a water/banana stop
We then used a new route to Parcent, one which we have
not used with the group before
It is a very difficult one to follow, but fortunately I
had it recorded on my satnav
Despite this I found it difficult to find, mainly because
the tracks were so overgrown
Spain is working again, we had to detour off the path
because of a work party
And a bonus was this lady doing her wash at the Parcent
font.
