Sunny, though chilly, as we started our walk from the “chicken
shacks” in Parcent
It was a little muddy on the “pipe line” section of the
walk
But not as bad as we had feared given the heavy rain last
week
We soon warmed up and removed top layers
Sunny and warm as we had our banana break
We meet Dave and Sue walking their dog as we had our
break
And just afterwards had to move off the track for this
brave, or foolish, young girl
It was really pleasant during the next downhill stage
through the woods
The narrow track requires we walk in single file
But that did not stop the constant chatter
We had a short water stop to enjoy the warm sunshine
Then on to our lunch break above Jalon
The picnic site has lots of tables
And an “assault course” for the more active, including
David
They have added to the exercise options since we were
last here
It’s a lovely place to have a picnic, and we were
reluctant to leave it
But we still had 6km to go to get to Parcent
However we did have a break at the Ermitia
Looks like Anneke really made herself comfortable
Then back to Parcent, the cooperativa and a well-earned
drink
