Our second summer walk was from Tormos to Isbert Dam
Once more we were restricted to a maximum of ten
Once more we had to wear our face masks walking through the village
It was not too bad at the start, when the temperature was
about 20c
But more uncomfortable on the return journey, when it was
about 28c
Half of the group did a detour to see the dam itself
That is why the walk was half an hour longer than planned
The heat and the scramble to the dam also made me feel a little faint
Fortunately Jo had a high energy drink which sorted me out
Everyone was very concerned, but need not have worried
It has happened once before, and again on a very hot day
It reminds us how careful you have to be with both the
weather and the terrain
It’s nice to be able to chat and just enjoy the good company
Stats
