Our recce today was to try to find an alternative route
from Parcent to Murla
We used to walk to Murla using this route when we first
moved to Parcent, back in 2006
However it was badly damaged in the Gota Fria in 2007 and
we have not used it since then
We tried to find it last year to use on our Almond
Blossom walk, but could not do so
I found two possible tracks on my satnav, but both were
field tracks and there was a gap between them and the track we usually use
We couldn’t find the most promising of the two on the
outward journey, because it was completely overgrown.
We gave up and walked to Murla for a break in the shade
by the church
On the return journey we tried the second one, and
followed it all the way back to Parcent
